Does Phyto-Adapt contain estrogen?
No. It contains phytoestrogens (plant compounds that mildly mimic estrogen) plus adaptogens, Dong quai, and Black Cohosh. It does not contain actual human hormones.
Can I take Phyto-Adapt if I am already taking Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)?
Phyto-Adapt is safe to take along with HRT, however, you should always have a discussion with your prescribing provider first. The potent phytoestrogens in Phyto-Adapt may alter the HRT effects on your estrogen receptors and estrogen metabolism.
What is the recommended dosage?
Take 2 capsules per day, in the first half of the day, with food. Taking without food is also fine as long as there is no digestive discomfort experienced.
